What's in it
- Both channels: channel A (overdrive) and channel B (clean, with BRIGHT), the shared path and the power amp, built from the VH-140C schematics. The circuit goes into ngspice first, then into a realtime engine that is checked against it.
- High and Low inputs, like on the amp.
- Chorus.
- A drive pedal in front (SD-1, or the TS808 circuit) and an EQ after the amp: low cut, thump, mud, bite, fizz and high cut.
- Cabinet IRs, a noise gate, a tuner, and interface calibration, so your guitar hits the input the way it would hit the real amp.
- Quality: Standard, High and Ultra.
- Formats: VST3, AU and standalone on macOS; an installer for Windows.
It's a beta
- It's not for sale yet. The download runs as a free 14-day trial.
- Some parts aren't finished. They're greyed out in the plugin and marked NOT BUILT YET.
- Things can still change between betas while the model gets closer to the real amp.
- Tell me what works and what doesn't: beatforgehelp@gmail.com. Bug reports, sound comments and "it doesn't load in my DAW" are all welcome.
